2,000 Pennsylvanians Expereice May's Family + Community Forum
The Community Action Association of Pennsylvania is excited to announce that nearly 2,000 Pennsylvanians experienced last May's Family + Community Forum. The 21 participating member agencies hosted a broad range of community leaders for poverty simulations that placed participants in the role of a member of a low-income family.
The Family + Community Forum received outstanding coverage from both print and broadcast media. The coverage was so impressive that we have created a page with links to the stories instead of bogging down this post with links. Click here to view the links to the Family + Community Forum stories.
Even though May is over 6 more Family + Community Forums are scheduled over the next three months.

CBS Evening News to Air Weatherization Story on Wednesday
David Bradley was interviewed yesterday by the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric about weatherization.
Although NCAF was told this would be a sunny story about weatherization, skepticism seems to remain among the news media about the network’s ability to resourcefully spend all the money contained in the stimulus bill and deliver such a large number of new jobs.
The interview should broadcast on Wednesday evening. Tune in and share your thoughts on this blog afterward.
